Being a business that produces goods, we recognize our impact on the environment and continually strive to find ways of reducing, re-using and recycling.
Reduce
To reduce we use packaging that is made from majority compostable materials and focus on selling quality merchandise and equipment that we hope will remain in use and out of the landfills. We also promote the use of reusable cups to further reduce our impact.
Re-use
In the kitchen and behind the bar we re-use as much as possible. All ingredients are used to their fullest and the rest goes into compost. Glassware or vessels that get damaged are turned into Second Chance Plants and packing material from deliveries are reused for shipping online purchases.
Recycle
We offer coffee chaff, the skin or husk of the coffee bean that comes off during roasting, and spent coffee grounds for home compost.
