Recipe:

Based on a 16:1 brew ratio

18.5g Coffee
300g Water
Brew coffee using water between 195˚F - 205˚F
Medium Grind
Total Brew Time: 2:30 - 3:00

1. While water is heating weigh out 18.5g of coffee.

2. Rinse filter to remove paper taste and heat brewer and decanter.

3. Grind coffee on medium setting, place in filter and shake lightly to evenly distribute coffee. NOTE: Grind size and consistency will effect brew time and extraction. Adjust as needed for desired results.

4. Pouring in a circular motion, slowly and gently add 40g of water over coffee bed. Take care to not pour on edge of coffee bed and filter.

5. Pause and allow coffee to bloom for 35 seconds.

6. Gently agitate coffee by pouring in circular motion till 100g of water is reached, then continue to pour into the center of the brewer till 150g of water is reached.

7. Pause to allow water level to drop just above the bed of coffee. Using a combination of agitation and strait pouring, add water in 50g increments till 300g is reached. Total brew time should be between 2:30 - 3:00 minutes. NOTE: Agitation and pour speed will effect brew time and extraction. Adjust as needed for desired results.
